Robyn Kay Pedersen, 67, died January 15, 2018 at her Leesburg home surrounded by her family. Robyn was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on November 20, 1950, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis Dinwiddie. She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1969 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. She continued to live and work in that community, where she met G. Michael Pedersen and on May 1, 1976 the two were married at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake, Iowa. Robyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She cherished her family and her faith. She was an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church who taught many years of Sunday School, Bible School, and Youth Club. She was a Cub Scout leader for many years and enjoyed serving her community. Robyn also enjoyed gardening, homemaking, and the beauty of nature. She devoted much of her time and energy to her family and to her home. Robyn is survived by her husband, Mike Pedersen of Leesburg, Florida; son, Dan Pedersen of Tampa, Florida; daughter Elizabeth (Ensign) Underwood of Marietta, Georgia; two granddaughters, Olivia Underwood and Madeline Underwood of Marietta, Georgia; a sister Lee (Loras) Even; sistersin-law, Georgea Clinton and Carolyn (John) Deason; and many nieces and nephews.
