Obituary
Roger George Labrie, 71, of Wilbur by the Sea, Florida passed away on October 23, 2016 in Daytona Beach, FL. He was born on July 27, 1945 in Dover, New Hampshire to the late George and Yvette Labrie. He was a graduate of Dover High School and he served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. After Roger was discharged from the Navy he worked at the Portsmith Naval Shipyard as a Hard Hat Diver. He was the Owner of a pool service and repair business, and he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Roger loved fishing, was an avid sports fan, and he enjoyed collecting many things including coins and stamps. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Ramey of Daytona Beach, Florida; his son, Roger Labrie and his wife Gina McGurren of Daytona Beach, Florida; his brother, Daniel Labrie of Wilbur by the Sea, Florida; his nephew, Michael Labrie of Tampa, Florida; his niece, Karen Laiuppa of Tampa, Florida; his nephew, Kevin Labrie of South Florida; his granddaughter, Brittany Ramey of Daytona Beach, Florida; and his grandson, Gavin Labrie of Daytona Beach, Florida. A Celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12:00 pm, with the Navy Honor Guard rendering Military Honors at 2:30 pm at Jerry’s Tiki Bar, 33 Inlet Harbor Road, Ponce Inlet, FL. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Port Orange, Florida.

Roger was a friend from Dover that Bob Pierce and I would spend time at Rogers apt on the Avenue. Had a lot of laughs. My condolences in the loss of your father and grandfather, and Dan your little brother.
