Obituary

Dr. Roger Lee “Doc” Ramage, 78, of Ocala, FL passed away December 20, 2017.  Born in Paducah, KY he came to this area 8 years ago from Homestead, FL.  “Doc” was a very active through his career.  He was a family psychologist, taught high school and middle school, was a college professor, coached several sports, was a Pastor, pianist and soloist.  He was a loving husband, father and papa.  He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Jennifer Ramage of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin Ramage of Buford, GA, April Ingannamorte (Rich Ksiazkowski) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Heather Rivera (David) of Ocala, FL and her twin Monica Suarez (Daniel) of Coral Gables, FL; brother, Michael Ramage of Tallahassee, FL; 6 grandchildren, Veronica Ingannamorte, Elena Rivera, Avery Ramage, Licia Rivera, Olivia Rivera and Emilia Suarez.  Per “Doc’s” request there will be no funeral services.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org .  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 954 E.     Roger and I were friends from the second grade at McKinley School through Tilghman. We were able to get together when we had Tilghman reunions and met for lunch when he was home for visits at times. He was one of my best friends and will always hold his friendship as special. Bob and Opal were like second parents to me. My love and prayers go to his family!

    I am Richard Jett’s son. My Dad holds Roger in the highest regard. Since, my childhood, I have heard my Dad speak about him often.

    Roger and I were friends having both grown up at Paducah, Kentucky. He was a great friend who will be sorely missed by me. His Mom always made me pound cakes which I loved. I am thankful I was his friend. I pray he will be with our Lord and Savior and hope to see him again some day. He was a good man who walked his talk.
