Obituary
Roger M. Foley, 77, passed away into God’s arms on the afternoon of October 8, 2020 at home surrounded by his family in Ocala, Florida. Roger had struggled with Alzheimer’s for many years.
Roger, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, worked for over 37 years with Silgan Closures (formerly known as White Cap) as a supervisor and as a serviceman.
Roger was a wonderful man who was always interested in growing his knowledge whether it be computer skills, wood working, stained glass or his deepest love photography. He had a tremendous sense of humor and maintained this aspect of himself throughout his battle with Alzheimer’s. He had also studied and obtained a Realtor’s license after retirement.
He was a man of great faith in God.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Paula Foley, his brother David Foley, and his beloved Aunt Irene.
He is survived by wife, Eileen Foley of Ocala, Florida and sister-in-law Pat Foley of Chicago, Illinois and numerous cousins from both sides of the family.
He will be deeply missed.
