Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation would like to extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Roger Tosch who passed away on March 19, 2021.
The eldest of 8 children to the late Elton Laurence and Lucille Rose (Beckman) Tosch; he is survived by his sons, Matthew Tosch of Andover, MA and Andrew Tosch of Jericho, VT; daughters, Amanda Tosch of Nantucket, MA and Melissa Schaefer of Bellevue, WA; his sisters, Sharon Ley of Cape Coral and Linda Smith of Jacksonville; his brothers, Robert Tosch of Hobart, IN and Richard Tosch of Shelbyville, KY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger independently paid for his education at Purdue University and went on to work for many years as an engineer at IBM in Endicott, NY and Essex Junction. He enjoyed the outdoors and was accomplished in many activities including tennis, golf and cycling. Roger was a longtime volunteer with Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. He was an avid reader, enjoyed the arts and was an excellent cook. He was especially happy in recent years enjoying the company of and traveling with Madeline Seefield.
Cremation is private.
