Obituary
Ronald Brian Bernath. November 21,1965 – August 24,2019
Ronald passed on to eternity at Advent Health / Florida Hospital, Saturday August 24, 2019.
A native of Illinois he moved to Florida in 1977. He started his career as a teen at Western Auto, then spent nearly 30 years as a Director of Parts and Service for Toyota, Kia, and Chrysler corporation, to directing multiple businesses at one time. On his own time he visited and spoke to students interested in joining his team, mentoring many who joined him and his infectious work ethic, winning many deserved awards.
Ron also gave guidance to three stepchildren, providing love, support and the opportunity to become responsible adults. He loved his smoker grill, Chicago style hot dogs, Michelob beer, loud classic rock music and 4X4 mud running.
Especially at peace by the ocean and building many friendships through the years, he felt they were all extended family and was visiting one when God called him home. Stubbornness could not stop his gregarious personality, big heart, a very huge smile as he persisted with life’s hurdles. Remember his greeting, “What’s happening Hobie Joe” and encouraging “Get On Spotted Dog”. Rest In Peace” loved and not forgotten. Survived by his father John L. Bernath, step-mom Sarah M. Bernath; Brothers John W. Bernath, Scott A. Bernath, and William J. Bernath. Step siblings Robert Anderson and Michel. Many special nieces and nephews plus three grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in his honor to the American Heart Association or to your local Humane Society.
