Obituary

Ronald Keith Burkholder, 54, of Altamonte Springs passed away May 29, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, three children, Kyle Burkholder, Ryan Burkholder and his wife Ashley, and Cory Burkholder, Father, Keith Martin Burkholder and his wife Effie, two grandchildren Cyrus and Dawn Burkholder, one sister Ginger Long and her husband Max. He was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle Jeanette Hagerman. Ron was a man who's family and friends meant everything to him. He and his wife originated in Peoria Illinois, where Ron worked with First American Bank which they later moved  to Clearwater, He worked with Primus, a Ford Motor Company, in Altamonte Springs, where he was the director of the Sales Department, he later took a position with Hyundai Motors working with their sales force. Ron loved the outdoors, he was a Boy Scout Master with Troop 203 for seven years, he also enjoyed woodworking. A Celebration of Ron's life is set for Tuesday evening, June 3, 2014 at 7pm at Dove Funeral Home 4310 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32806.     My sincere apologies about the tardiness, but I only recently became aware of his passing. Ron was liked by all...and loved by many. Ron, you will be missed.

    So sorry to hear about cousin Ron passing. I haven't seen him in many years, but have found memories from our youth. My condolences to the family, especially uncle Keith. No one should suffer the loss of a child.

    I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I worked with at Champion Federal where he was instrumental in getting me started in Auto Lending. Your family will be in my prayers.

    I am so very sorry for your great loss. I have such fond memories of Ron, from sharing family get-togethers to enjoying becoming parents at nearly the same time. I know your pain is unbearable now, but I pray your memories and your faith will bring you some comfort on this difficult journey.
