Obituary

Ronald King Dietzel, 74, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Ocala, Florida. Ron was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 24, 1946, to parents, Albert and Lula (Huffman) Dietzel.

Ron was a Retired Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force, with over 20 years of service. His posts included stays in England, Japan, and across the United States. He was an avid world traveler and enjoyed taking cruises with his wife and family. Ron was very active in local church activities.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Bonita O. Dietzel, of Ocala, FL; sons, Matthew Ronald Dietzel, of Baltimore, Maryland, Christopher Thomas Dietzel, of Seminole, FL; stepson, Michael R. Brauer; step granddaughter, Bella V. Brauer; as well as important loved ones, Jodie McFadden, and Adele Lewis. He is predeceased by his parents Albert Franklin Dietzel, of Baltimore, Maryland as well as his mother, Lula Mae Hoffman Dietzel, of Baltimore, Maryland.

Private Services will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Wounded Warriors, or Shriners in Ron’s name.     Bonnie we are so sorry for your loss. Ron will be truly missed. I know how much he enjoyed all of your travels and your dogs Dusty and Lucy. Remember the good times. All our love to you and the family. If there is anything you need please let us know.
