Ronald (Ron) M. Morley, 64 of Edgewater, FL passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Bert Fish Memorial in New Smyrna Beach. Honoring his wishes, there were no formal calling hours. A memorial service will be posted at a later date.
Ron was born September 26, 1949 in Bath, NY the son of Lester and Kathryn Morley of Dundee, NY. He served in the Army Reserves for 7 years and worked in the Propane Industry for 34 years. Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years Shirley (Dombroski) Morley, son Bentley (April) Morley of Weaverville, NC; step grandchildren Harley Steedley, James Steedley, and Dayna Hasson. He is also survived by his brother Richard "Rick" (Laura) Morley of Wesley Chapel, FL; their son Ricky Morley of Dundee, NY and daughter Donna (Mark) Wollschleger of Bloomfield, NY and many other nieces and nephews.
A Mopar enthusiast, he enjoyed fixing the body, engine, and interior of classic cars. He also enjoyed car shows and museums, aircraft, military, and tractor museums. A member of M.O.B.- Mopars of Brevard, he enjoyed cruise-ins and attending the Carlisle, PA show every year.
Ron was predeceased by his niece, Leslie Morley in May 1989 and nephew, Coy Bedient in September 2011.
