Obituary
Ronald Maynard Pinkston, Sr., 75, of Ocala passed away November 9, 2016. Born in Silver Springs, FL he was a lifelong resident of the area. Mr. Pinkston was a US Army Veteran, a retired cook and a member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Polly Pinkston; children, Ronnita Wingo (Victor) of Ocala, FL, Ronalda Johnson of Richmond, VA, Ronald Pinkston, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Ranyatda Hill of Hamilton, NJ, Celeta Faye Frazier (Nehemiah), Michelle Douglas and Deidre Douglas all of Ocala; sister, Amelia Ann Pinkston of Silver Springs, FL; brothers, Frederick Pinkston (Freda) of Atlanta, GA and Alfred Pinkston (Martha) of Atlanta, GA; sister in law Linda Pinkston. 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, cousins and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Garvey, Wendell and Rev. Frank G. Pinkston. The family will have a Celebration of Ronald’s Life at a later date, to be determined.
