Obituary
Ronald Thomas Jackson went to Heaven to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 19th, 2024
Ron was born on November 5, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a son of the late William Howard Jackson and Mildred Gladys Staub.
Ron was a loving husband, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend who took care of his late wife Helene Jackson for many years while she was sick so she would not have to go into a Nursing Home. He loved her very much. Ron will be remembered most for being a self taught master craftsman with wood. He built his own beautiful kitchen cabinets and turned his home into a charming, rustic, country log cabin with a metal roof and several porches. Always the builder, he built his own entertainment center and bookshelves throughout his home and even built walls in the livingroom to match. He loved remodeling his home and taking care of his yard with many beautiful trees and plants throughout the property.
Ron will also be remembered as the man who always had a dog in his arms. It’s hard to find a picture of him without one. Always having a dog to love was one of his greatest joys in life. He enjoyed his life to the fullest with his family and friends and Helene always by his side off on a new adventure. He loved riding his motorcyles, boating and spending time with family and friends every chance he could get.
He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Castaneda, his daughter Dorreen Stein, his son Kenneth Jackson and his wife Angie Jackson, his daughter Lisa Jackson, his son Daniel Jackson, his step daughters Melissa Sherbert- Torres and Amber Sherbert and his grandchildren Dylan Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Aiden Parrill and his many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
