Obituary
Ronald (Ron) Trudeau, 78, of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away on June 9, 2020 at Physicians Regional Medical Center-Pine Ridge, with family by his side.
He was born to parents Leo Harold Trudeau and Helen Lucille (Galligher) in Calumet City, Illinois. He was raised in Calumet City and Roselle, Illinois before he left for his life of stubborn independence which included, but not limited to, time served in the Army, working as a sheet metal worker, and employment at Abbott Laboratories in construction management both stateside and abroad.
He had a passion for Chicago Bears football, fishing, cooking, and good times with friends but his greatest love was for his family. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Labonar and her husband, Len Labonar, Kristine Harrison and her husband, Phil Harrison. His grandchildren include: Hannah Labonar, Sarah Labonar, Kaitlyn Harrison, Joshua Labonar, and Andrew Harrison as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Leo Trudeau, his sisters Julie Moore and Sharon Eaton. Ron was cremated as he wished and was spread in the Gulf of Mexico on the water that he held dear.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Bonita Springs, Florida and in Hoffman Estates, Illinois at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Moose Charities–Mooseheart located at 155 International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539 in honor of Ron’s dedication to the fraternal order.
