Obituary

Rosemary Cadett, 66, passed away on May 16, 2023 in Ocala, Florida. She was born on January 21, 1957 in New Haven, Connecticut to James and Mary F. Pellino. Rosemary attended East Haven High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life and took pride in her cooking. She always made sure everyone was full, and when serving plates, she made certain everyone received that “extra scoop.”

Rosemary is survived by her son Joseph Leonardo, her daughters Mary (Dereck) Rivera, and Jessica Cadett all of Florida, as well as her grandchildren Matthew Erinn Munro, Kamdyn Henry Stanton, Willow Moon Broadhurst, and Domitri Gordon Broadhurst, along with several nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her brother Louis Pellino of Hamden, Connecticut.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Anthony Pellino, and sister Josephine (Jo-Ann) Petruzzelli.

Also preceding her in death was her soulmate, David (Dave) Beurrier.

A private interment will be held at Saint Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven, Connecticut at a later date. There will be no graveside services.

Just wanted to say you really looked better yesterday when we visited... the house is too quiet. Mary and I, but her especially, really don't know what to do with ourselves without you here... our routine is way off. I know that you know we talk about you often and hurt for your absence here.. but I bet you wouldn't change places! Run free! Dance.. or disco.. your choice! We love you and we will be bringing you home tomorrow.

With our hearts hurting, please let us know when you're around!! You are missed in this life... We love you mom❤️❤️❤️

Rose (Mom) .. you are truly missed!!! The house is completely different knowing you're not coming home.. I miss our sessions with all the oldie goodies playing.. remember those tasty jams?? I love you mom and I know you're not suffering anymore and that's what helps get me thru each day. You'd ne SO proud of Mary for handling all the services and the outreach from family with that. We love you and I've hope you and Dave are finally back together!!

I will always remember my childhood with you. Trips to CT Post Mall, sleeping over, learning how to cook....hosting Christmas Eve for you when I moved....I have so many fond memories. So glad I was able to visit you with the boys when they were younger, in Florida. And even more grateful that I was able to visit you a few years ago in Florida....to just sit and talk with you and eat the Eggplant Parm you made for me!!! I will miss you very much.....I hope you all in heaven are partying it up! Love you forever!

Mom, I don't even know where to begin. It still doesn't seem real. I miss you more than I can ever put into words. And I love you even more than that. I wasn't ready for you to go. I hope you are enjoying your time with Uncle Anthony, Auntie JoAnn, Grandma and Dave. Have fun with them, tell them all I miss and love them too. I will see you again sometime, until then, I love you.
    Love, Mary
