Obituary
Roy E. Williams (81) of Port Orange peacefully passed away September 12, 2017 at Halifax Health-Hospice. He was born March 11, 1936 to Roy and Gretelle Williams.
Roy grew up in Florida, graduating from Haines City High School in 1954, when he proudly served his country with the United States Air Force until 1958. He became a Freemason with the Valley of Southern Illinois in 1962. After his service in the Air Force, Roy began his 39 year career as a Systems Analyst and Manager with the Defense Communications Agency of the Federal Government in Washington DC. After retiring in 1991, Roy returned to Florida settling in Port Orange. He enjoyed the beach, playing golf and traveling in his motor home.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, and his parents Roy and Gretelle Williams.
Survivors include his loving wife Susan, his daughter Diane Frame (Doug) of Manassas, VA, his sons Roy Williams Jr. (Karin) of Falls Church, VA, David Williams of South Daytona, FL, Tom Riley (Margaret) of Deltona, FL and his grandchildren Richard, Adam and Macie as well as his beloved dog Dreamer. Other survivors include his brothers Robert Williams (Betty) of Haines City, FL and Gary Williams (Catharine) of Santa Clarita, CA, his sisters Cindy Scott (Frank) of Port Orange, FL and Charisse May of Lakewood Ranch, FL. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Precious memories of our time together with Roy and Susan will remain in our hearts forever. God bless our dear friend Roy who we were privileged to have in our lives. We share in your loss and pray for you all.
