Obituary
Ruth A. Linteau, 74, of Fort Myers Beach, passed away April 17, 2019, at her home from Lymphoma. Born August 3, 1944 in Mount Clemens, MI., Ruth previously lived in the Metropolitan Detroit area and briefly in North Carolina.
She is predeceased by her father, Levi R. Linteau, her mother Madeline R. Kohlhagen and her brother Raymond C. Linteau.
Ruth is survived by her loving partner of 39 years, Grant W. Peterson, her children, Stephanie A. McCarty, Christine M.(Robert) Smith and Jason A. Lech; beloved granddaughters, Elizabeth A. Lech and Katherine M. Lech, great-granddaughter, Oona K. Eisbrenner. Brother Robert (Mary) Linteau, nieces, Ryann (Christopher) Paul and Andrea Linteau and great-niece Aila, nephew David (Kylee) Linteau and great-nephew Christian; also, loving cousins.
Ruth graduated from Utica High School in 1962. Her interests included: astrology, geology and genealogy. She was a lover of animals, music and adventure. Ruth was an artist whose mediums included, stained glass, watercolor, electrical tape, Velcro and all matter of plastic. She was a problem solver, inventor and eternal Girl Scout. She leaves us forever heartbroken.
Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Fort Myers, warmly and wonderfully assisted with arrangements.
Memorial arrangements to be announced and will likely be held in Michigan.
