Meyers, Ryan Allen28 (4/1/85 - 9/2/13) Ryan Allen Meyers was born to Marc and Barbara Meyers April 1, 1985. Ryan's first stop on the way home from the hospital was Denmark Sporting Goods. Here his proud father introduced Ryan to Walt Hudson III and the rest of the sportsman at Denmark's. Thus Ryan's outdoor adventures began. Hunting trips with Pop-Pop Rausch to K-6 on the Mormon ranch provided Ryan's first experience with the Great Outdoors. Not wanting to be the one sport wonder, Ryan excelled at fishing, diving, alligator hunting and the enjoyment of a sportsman life. Ryan's most adventurous trip was earlier this year when he went to South Africa on safari. The outdoors was Ryan's life, but he did find time to attend Winter Park High School and graduate from The University of North Florida with a degree in Building Construction. His education led him to employment with Remediation Specialist with Florida Hospital as his primary account. Ryan's life was filled with love, excitement, and a countless number of friends. His family and friends will miss him deeply and cherish the times they enjoyed with him. Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Marc and Barbara, his sister Taylor, and his faithful 4-legged companion, Fin. Ryan is also survived by his grandmother, Roberta Rausch, uncles, Steven (Cheri) Rausch, Mike (Teresa) Rausch, David Rausch, Mike (Denise) Meyers, John (Nancy) Meyers, aunts, Yvonne Rausch, Margie (Lee) Byers and Melanie (John) McGriff and numerous cousins. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Meyers and grandfathers Garth Meyers and Ralph Don'L Rausch. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Ryan's name to the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida. A Celebration of Ryan's life Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 15, 2013 @ 1:00 pm at the historic ballroom at Dubsdread. Following the services, family and friends will gather at the Meyers residence in Maitland.
Send flowers to the family to show you care.
