Samuel Jefferson Hughes Jr 84, of Fort Myers passed away 11/26/2021. Samuel was a 32nd degree Shriner for 27 years. His nickname was “Zipcode” as he was a Shriner Clown for 27 years. Samuel is survived by his loving wife Betsy Hughes of Fort Myers, FL, daughters Catherine “Kitty” Hughes of Fort Myers, FL, Wendi McIntosh (William) of Ocala, FL, Angela Ortiz (Jose) of Chester, VA, Angelia Marie Laubhan of Fruita, CO, step daughters Shirley Snyder McLaren of Fort Myers, FL, and Kara O’ Bannon of Labelle, FL.

    My Dad was a great happy man. Great father husband and friend he’s probably up dancing in his clown suit laughing out jokes and making everybody happy and laugh Daddy I will so miss you in all the days ahead and Love You forever so . I will see you again and you can teach me the tricks
