He fought in the “Hungarian Revolution” in 1956 when he was just 14 years old. He was shot in the back and wounded left his family and his homeland for a chance at survival. He was granted political asylum to Canada where he lived with a foster family until adulthood. He immigrated to the United States in 1988. He was a chef by profession and enjoyed cooking all of his life. He met his wife, Carol, in 1989 and they had two children together . He became a father later in life and thoroughly enjoyed his kids.
