Obituary

Sandra “Sandy” Lee Clifford, of North Fort Myers, FL formerly of Weymouth, MA, passed peacefully with family by her side on April 16, 2024 at the age of 72. Sandy was born in 1951 in Quincy, MA where she enjoyed her early childhood years before moving to North Weymouth. She was a graduate of Weymouth High School and later worked many years as a transportation manager for Bay State Milling Company. Sandy loved making memories with her nieces and nephews on various beach, camping and amusement park adventures.

Sandy was the beloved wife of 50 years to Michael Clifford of North Fort Myers, FL. She was the devoted daughter of the late Stanford and Theresa (Veno) Worrell, the loving sister to the late Alyce Worrell Stewart, and to Janie Worrell, Debra Egan (late husband Paul) and Barbara Chaisson (husband Richard) all of Weymouth, and the sister-in-law to Daniel Clifford of Holbrook. She was the proud and fun Aunt to Paul Stewart, Tara and Katie Egan, Joe and Alye Chaisson and their children whom she adored: Gage, Porter, Savannah, Paul, Ryan and Natalie.

She will be remembered dearly for her unconditional love and support of her family, especially by all her nieces and nephews whom she helped raise.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend A Celebration of Life Memorial Service that will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at Old South Union Church, South Weymouth at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter as Sandy was a dedicated pet lover and owner to many furry friends over the years.
