Sandy Buscemi92, of Ocala, Florida was born Saint Charles Buscemi on June 2, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to Marion Giaccone and Charles Buscemi. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie and is survived by his wife, Vera; brother, Carman; children, Laura Lakey, Charles Buscemi and Lawrence Buscemi who will miss him greatly; 8 adoring grandchildren, Alexa, Amanda, Kathleen, Brian, Kevin, Eliana, Lucia and Natalia as well as one great grandson, Nico.
Sandy graduated from Grover Cleveland High School and then attended Princeton, Columbia and Fordham Law School. He served bravely in Korea and practiced law in New York until his retirement in 1992. Aling with his beloved Vera, they settled in Ocala and over the next 30 years played golf, socialized at the club and became a “killer” bridge couple.
He remains in the hearts of many loving friends and relatives. He will be remembered for his stories, his humor and his inability to assemble anything according to the instructions. We love you Papa. There will be no funeral service.
