Obituary
Sarita Perry Carter, 84, of Gulf Shores, AL and Bradenton, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, FL. Born on July 1, 1938 in Corbin, KY to the proud parents of Madison B. & Lucinda (Brewer) Corn, Sarita was a retired medical office manager for a medical supplies company. She is survived by her beloved husband, George E. Carter; her daughter, Melody Perry (Mike) Doyle; her great grandson, Mason McEvoy; her sister, Jessie Runner; niece, Pam (Thomas) Gee; nephew, Scott (Athena) Runner, sister in law, Maxine Perry; step-daughters: Denise (Bernard) Osborne, Lisa (John) Auen and Misty Scaggs, Angela (Ready) Hoedt and step-son Holger (Sandi) Carter; her step-grandchildren: Robert Herman, Daniel & Michael Garcia, Taylor Auen, Dalton & Dominic Scaggs, Megan and Sean Hoedt, Kele Carter; along with numerous grand nieces and nephews, which include James and Diane Corn and her son-in-law, Steve Horne. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Horne; her nephew, William (Butch) Ashworth and her granddaughter, Kimberly Bruck Barnett.
