Obituary

On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, Scott Matthew Pinkall, loving husband, brother and son passed away at the age of 38.

Scott was born on April 2, 1982 in Fort Myers, FL. He attended Edison State College where he received his Associates Degree in 2002. In 2008 he met his future wife, Alex, while working in a restaurant together. The two went on to marry on April 22, 2016 in Key West. Together they raised their fur baby, Loki.

Scott had a passion for Hockey. He started playing when he was 14 years old and quickly fell in love with the game. One of his greatest moments of 2020 was watching his beloved Tampa Bay Lightning bring home the Stanley Cup.

Scott loved to be on the water and near the ocean. It was his dream to someday have a house on the water and buy a boat.

He will be remembered for his joyful and easygoing spirit, his infectious laugh, and his ability to find a friend in anyone. Scott was a true southern gentleman.

Scott was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Wilma, and his paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley.  He is survived by his wife, Alex, his mother and father, Barbara and Jim, his sister, Dana (Shawn), his nephew, Christian, his niece, Lauren, and several other close relatives.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Family and Friends may sign the guest register or leave a condolence message by visiting www.baldwincremation.com.

I have just learned the news of your son's departure and am so sorry for your great loss. From reading his obituary, it sounds like he was a wonderful young man who left this world much too soon. I don't know how parents deal with something this heartbreaking and wish I had some words to console you and the rest of your family during the saddest time of your lives but please know that you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, my dear old high school pal.

Scott Pinkall was such a wonderful young man. He was a great and a best friend to my son Ryan Crep. I am so very devastated to hear this news. I have followed his life on Facebook and was blessed to meet Alex many years ago at Carraba's. The pictures of the wedding were beautiful. Our family, Troy & Cheryl Auer and Tiffany Crep-Carney & Robbie Carney do feel your pain. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all always. Please feel free to reach out to us and I would like to be notified when you have a celebration of life so that I can support you like Scott helped me. Scott will be greatly missed.
