Obituary

Sharon Dole Downs, 61, went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2017.   Sharon was born to Bernard and Arline Dole on August 9, 1956 in Springfield, Massachusetts.  As she grew older she fell in love with cooking.  Sharon was so proud to be in the kitchen.  She worked her way up to Executive Chef for Marriott Hotels.  In the 24 years that she was there they would call her up to consult and help open any new Restaurants at Marriott’s all over the world.  She moved to Florida and for the past 10 years her baby has been her wonderful black Pekingese dog named Tojo.  Tojo has been the love of her life along with her husband James.   While in Ocala she enjoyed many things, but will be remembered by most as that wonderful chef and the lady who was always ready for the golf cart parades. She loved to watch and would throw candy to the people in the golf carts for all the holidays. Along with this excitement she always made sure Tojo had his outfits for each holiday. She is survived by her loving husband James Downs of 22 years.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

My sweet set in her ways Sharon!!! I will miss her very much. She kept me on my toes at all times as her Manager and what memories were made!
She had a Wonderful heart, she loved my 2 grandchildren Karley & Tony, and was a Master Chef in everything she cooked! My favorite was the sausage biscuits & the kids was the chocolate chocolate chip muffins! Sharon certainly left her mark @ Sitel and I pray for comfort and peace for Jimmy and Tojo
