Sharon E. Groth (Burgess), age 87, of Orlando, Florida went home to be with Jesus and her family in heaven on October 8, 2024, with her daughter at her side. Sharon was born August 11, 1937, in Detroit Michigan, the daughter of the late Glenn & Elsie Burgess. She graduated from Brown City High School in 1955.

She was an amazing Mother, Step Grandmother, adopted Mother to many, loved to travel, was a hard worker, loved her family and friends, enjoyed playing on her computer and watching birds, and when in SC playing with her grand puppies. She was loved by all who met her.

Sharon is survived by her children, Jesse (Cherylynne Gordon) Groth of West Columbia, SC and Julie (Euel) Mauney, Orlando, FL, one brother Gene (Karen) Burgess of Brown City, sister-in-law Carol Burgess of Brown City, many nieces, nephews, and multiple step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and many beautiful friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Elsie Burgess of Brown City, her baby twin sister Marian Burgess, brother, Hollis Burgess of Brown City, baby sister Glennda Burgess, brother Raymond Burgess, and sister, Gail Maxwell.

After her cremation, her ashes will be interred in Brown City with a graveside prayer service.
