Obituary

Sharon Joyce (Hill) Robbins, 72, of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Frankfort, Kentucky and Jefferson County, Indiana, died on Friday, December 03, 2021, at her residence.

Sharon grew up in Turners Station, Kentucky and was a 1967 graduate of Henry County High School. She went on to work for Indiana Bell Telephone Company, PSI at Marble Hill and Illinois Power in Clinton, Illinois.

Sharon had a love of music and a gift for singing. Whether she was singing with her family around the Christmas tree, doing karaoke at her favorite club, or performing with her former band, the Strangers, there was no stage too big or too small for Sharon’s voice!

Sharon was also an avid Kentucky Wildcat (UK) basketball fan! She used to say she only purchased cable during basketball season, and she never missed a game!

Sharon will be missed by her children, Nathan Wentworth and his wife, Bonnie of Madison, Indiana, and Tia Lahue of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Chase Jones, Dakota Jones, Jordan Wentworth, Hayden Lahue and Nathaniel Lahue; her brother, Paul Hill (Sue) of Pleasureville, Kentucky; her sisters, Rhonda Harvey of Daytona Beach, Florida; Angela McClure (Joe Haydon) of Ormond Beach, Florida; and Natalee McClure (Lloyd Vellek) of Washington, D.C.; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Mario.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Ethel McClure; her sister, Linda Ebrecht; and her brother, Nathan James McClure.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Sharon was my Mother-in-Law and we had the opportunity to work together many years ago in the manufactured housing industry. Sharon was both professional & personable - the residents loved her! What I really loved - like everyone else that really knew Sharon, was to hear her sing! She had so much fun sharing this gift with others. She will be missed tremendously! I am so grateful she had the opportunity to move with her sister to Florida ☀️ as I’m certain it prolonged her life ❤️ RIP Sharon, I will hear your voice in song and smile

My grandmother was the most kind, loving, sweet person I have ever met. No matter what I was going through, she was always there for me. She's my favorite person on this planet, and now there's a new angel watching over us.
