Obituary
Shawney Ann Cipolla, 74, of Belleview, Florida went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Detroit, MI on March 2, 1947.
Shawney was adopted by Christopher and Catherine Cipolla in Hillsdale, MI December 1948 and raised in Monroe, MI. A graduate of Monroe High School, Monroe, MI.
She moved to Florida in 1980. She graduated from Central Florida Community College in 1986 for cosmetology. She was a talented beautician for over 20 years.
Married Armond Fillmore on June 3, 1963. She then married John T. Crook on November 10, 1977.
She is preceded in death by her adoptive parents, a sister, Diane Whalen and her fury companion Zoe.
Surviving are her children Candice (Sean) Mulligan of Carleton, MI, Julie Crook of Belleview, FL, Thomas (Kelly) Crook of Ocala, FL, Cindy Krug (Tom) of Monroe, MI.
7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving her is her birth mother, Christine Freeman of Sperry, Oklahoma whom she reunited with in July 1993 with the love and support of her parents.
She is also survived by her sisters and brothers in Oklahoma, David Freeman, Mike Freeman, Steve Freeman, Shirley Simmons, Patricia Johnson and Susan Miller.
A private service will be held at the beach.
