The GOAT/Greatest of all Times, Shelly Pestine, took his last breath on January 24, 2025 at 75 years old. He was happily married to Vickie Pestine for 53 years, had two devoted daughters (Toni Alison Pestine Chadwell and Traci Hampton, two loving grandsons (Evan and Hayden Chadwell), and a dedicated son-in-law, Antoine Hampton Sr. He valiantly fought every moment while we stood by his side for 15 days at Halifax Health Hospice. We love you all and appreciate all the stories and photos. Please continue to share with us!

    Shelley
You were the epitome of a great husband, father , grandfather and friend . You always looked at the glass, half full rather than half empty. But to me, your greatest quality was your ability to listen. I know that somewhere that you will have your Chicago Behr jersey on, waiting for the season, cause you will always be a fan of DaBears wherever you are. Love you, buddy.

You were the consummate husband , father, grandfather and friend. You treasured relationships and always looked at the glass half full rather than half empty. You had many gifts but the one I truly admired was your ability to listen to others . I know that you will still be rooting for DaBears no matter where u are

I first met Shelley when he bought Peanuts. We became good friends as I was his Buzztime rep and we grew his trivia players into regular customers and built Peanuts as a Top Ten Trivia bar in Florida. When I heard the news of his passing, I became sad at the fact I never got to say goodbye in person. Mary and I want to let Vicki that we are praying for her and the family in this time of sorrow. RIP Shelly! Go Cubs!
