Sherri Lou Taylor (nee Huff), 68, of Titusville FL passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. The beloved daughter of Isabel Huff; dear sister of Donald Huff, Anita Polk and Brian Huff and wife Susan; faithful wife of the late Richard Taylor for 34 years; cherished mother of Gary Troutner and wife Amber, Katherine Hodgman, Christopher Mundhenk and wife Jennifer, Melissa Bernard, and Stacy Mae Taylor; adored grandmother of David Mundhenk and wife Tammy, Crissy Amato and husband Anthony, Katie Mundhenk, Miranda Mundhenk, Kayten Troutner, Christopher Mundhenk, Jr., Casen Mundhenk, Gary Lee Bernard, Lucas Senkbeil, and Madalyn Sarnacki; treasured great grandmother of, Athena Mundhenk, Larry Mundhenk, Hazel Mundhenk, Anthony Amato Jr., Emily Detweiler, Aubrey Detweiler, Sophia Alvarado, Isabel Alvarado, and King Gavin Alvarado; respected aunt of Jennifer Polk and Andrew Polk: revered great aunt to Brian Polk and Nora Polk.

Sherri was born on August 10, 1955, in Kokomo, IN. As a teenager, she moved to Titusville, FL where she raised her family. She had a larger-than-life personality and was well-known to be sweet, thoughtful, spicy, and feisty. One of her favorite stages in her life was her time managing the food service at the local bowling center. She became “Mom” to many of her young co-workers and she was proud to pass the baton to a very dear person upon her retirement. Her belief was that family is more than blood. Sherri loved all of her family with all her heart.

A funeral service to celebrate Sherri’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the chapel of Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society on 2400 S. Washington Ave, Titusville FL 32780. A burial will be in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 Highway 1, Mims FL 32754 at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, June 24, 2024.
