Obituary

Shirley Blackmon of Leesburg, Fl passed away peacefully after a long battle with COPD on January 13, 2020 with her husband, Bobby Blackmon, holding her hand. Shirley was born on December 25, 1937 in La Marque, Tx to Essie Marguerite Wisenbaker & Jhue Chism Pace, Sr.

Shirley’s interests were, bowling, bingo, 50’s rock ‘n roll music, playing the slots, watching old westerns, cooking TV shows, soap operas and old movies. Shirley often worked as an accountant and loved working with numbers. Many knew her as the “CD Lady” when she would sell her husband’s (Beautiful Bobby Blackmon) CDs at his blues concerts.

She is survived by:

Husband – Bobby Blackmon

Daughter, Anita Blackmon, Granddaughter – Brittany Warren – Great Grandson – Roman Warren

Step Daughter – Deanna Narcisse. Granddaughters – Meghan Cook, Aliyah Narcisse – Great Grandson – Kilian Moralez

Nieces – Jamie Smith, Terri Tate
