Obituary
Stafford Perry, 72, passed away on July 9, 2019. Stafford was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many who loved him dearly. He was born on September 20, 1946 in Poston, South Carolina to the late Tom Montague and Mary Dell Perry. He was predeceased in death by 2 sisters Monty Dell Willoughby and Nelda Carter. He is survived by is loving wife Peggy of 50 years; son, Brian; daughter, Stephanie Levins; 3 sisters, Harriette Gray, Shirley Coleman, Willa Allen; brother Lester Perry, 5 grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam (66-67). He retired from CSX Transportation in 2006 and and moved to The Villages shortly there after. He was on the board of the Vietnam Veterans chapter 1036, president of the Carolina’s Club and a loyal fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks. There will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
