This is a quote that I saw that seemed to explain grief to me so well.
“The reality is that you will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you’ll learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
We will all miss Steve so much, and our lives are better for having known him!
Love and sympathy to all of you…. Barb and Dirk
My deepest condolences for your loss. When I saw Steve, he always had a smile on his face and would give me a hard time which I would give right back. I will miss that about him. May you find peace during this difficult time.
Steve was an awesome friend and a man's man. Steve came to the Republican Liberty Caucus luncheon in Daytona in July and we had a good time. I feel really fortunate to have gotten to spend some time with him.
