Obituary
Stephen M Chesser left this life Monday August 2, he was 36. Stephen was born May 14, 1985 in Winter Park to Marc and Angela Chesser. He leaves behind his loving wife Stacy C Homola and their soon to be born son Oliver Isaac Homola Chesser. He also leaves behind his 5 year old Daughter Charlotte Chesser, his Parents Marc and Angela Chesser, his Grandmother Doris Grace Caton. His sister Meredith (Derrick) Howie and their Children Kaelyn Bubenik and Landon Howie. Along with many others who will dearly miss him. He is Predeceased by Brother Christopher Chesser.
At a young age Stephen developed a love of fishing, camping and building things with his own hands. As a young man, he excelled in Scouting, and reached the level of Eagle Scout. As an adult he would go on to get his BA in Building Construction Management, continuing on to get his General Contracting License and LEED AP Certification.
Stephen’s passion for being a good, devoted husband and father were seen by anyone who knew him. In his down time he would build tables, play guitar, listen to his favorite music, watch his favorite shows and play Halo. He would go to the beach, or any water, to find clarity. He brought joy and comfort to everyone who knew him. There are many strangers out there who could tell stories of his kind acts, as he often went out of his way to help someone knowing that kind deed might never be returned. He was a gentle soul in an unforgiving world.
His service and burial will be Thursday August 12 at Glen Haven Memorial park at 10am, we will be remembering a man we all loved dearly. In lieu of flowers we will ask that you donate to a charity for Suicide prevention, or one that helps those suffering from addiction. Stephen was passionate about both of those causes.
