You and Mary welcomed me and my family in 2021 when we joined the GSWCF family. As Rangers we dedicate are lives to the Camps and insuring the best possible experience for the girls. You were an example of this by turning CDT into a beautiful and welcoming camp then taking on WW as your next project. You have left your legacy at both camps and anywhere you wander on either you will be felt.
    RIP Steve
    You will truly be missed.

Mary, family, friends, I am so sorry for the loss of such an awesome guy. I worked with Steve in White Pine Mental Health Center, Saginaw Community Hospital. Steve was always so kind, caring and empathetic with our patients. He liked to joke around and talk about nature and preserving people’s legacy. I always enjoyed working with him. Peace, Love, Prayers as you start a new chapter in the book of your life. Patty Reynolds

Steve was authentic in every sense of the word. He was granted the rare and beautiful opportunity to live what he loved and he embraced it with passion, purpose, and commitment . He made a lasting difference - leaving the community better because of his dedication and genuine care for others. His legacy lives on through the impact he made, and the memories he leaves behind. Steve will be dearly missed by his family, his friends and by me. … everyone who was fortunate enough to know his humor, his unwavering spirit and his generous heart.

I am a richer person for having known Steve, and in turn Mary. I know so many others would agree.

So thankful to have had the chance to work with you. Your passion and dedication were inspiring. You were (and Mary) some of the few people who treated all of the girls the same and provided the support they needed to learn and grow. When we would bring girls from our staff led programs to camp they felt comfortable, safe and included. Thank you.

You were an amazing uncle and an amazing person. Me and you always related to things that other people couldn't and I'm always going to remember going to your house across the street from my grandma and Papa's house and playing your guitars and hanging out with you and my dad. I'll miss you but never forget you. I love you
