I’ve been speechless since I heard this heartbreaking information. Skittles McGriddles... such a generous, forgiving person and quite the thrill seeker. I’ll never forget all the crazy stories from Saudi or blasting primus in the car cause lacie hated it on the way to devils den. (Thanks for taking me such an awesome place)

Your dad worked with my husband Gary. We were extremely saddened to hear of his passing; he will be dearly missed! He was always talking about his kids and grandkids, and showing us pictures on his phone. He would bring Miyah to do things with our daughter Lizzy. You could see the love he had for her! He truly loved all of you! You have our sincere condolences! We will keep you in our prayers.

I'm deeply saddened by the news I received this morning that Stephen passed away. I knew him as someone that shared the same interests as I did, a family man, a surfer, a Sagittarius, and a fellow Stephen. I first met him less than a year ago to help him find life insurance for his children in case something were to happen to them, he wanted to know that they would be okay. I often get to see the beautiful side of people when they take selfless action to take care of their family like Stephen.

We stayed in touch regularly and would take friendly jabs at each other for both having parents that didn't know how to spell Stephen/Steven, since his was with a PH and mine with a V. We'd laugh about it every time and proceed to catch up with all that was going on in our lives. He was so proud of his children and was filled with joy and couldn't wait to spend more time with his grand children.

It's a sad day and I send my loving condolences to his family - Lacie Grau, please contact me at (321) 747-5128 as soon as you can.
    Thank you,
    Steven White

I worked with Steve for the the last 5 years. I remember the day he called me to tell me he was going to be a GRANDPA! He was so excited, little Camiyah was the love of his life. I loved to see the pictures of her on Facebook. He would call and give me updates on her, she’s sitting up, she’s crawling, just everything. I could feel him just beaming through the phone. Then one day he called me again just bursting with pride, “I’m getting another grand baby and this one is a boy!” He wasn’t sure the world was ready for another Stephen. We had so many amazing talks. Steve absolutely loved his family, we talked a lot about Stephen and Lacie, my children and grandchildren. I finally got to meet him in person 2 years ago. We snapped a quick picture and I cherish this along with my memories. I was absolutely devastated to hear the news that he is gone. RIP my dear friend, I truly hope you find peace. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Steve was in the Navy with my dad and a very close friend of our family. He even lived with us when I was little. I have good memories of spending days at the beach with him in Pensacola. I visited with him when my family and I took a trip to FL from CO. We spent the day at the beach and had dinner. He tried to teach my son how to surf. It was a wonderful time. He was loved by my family and I .

    Dear Grau Family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I've only known Steve for a short time. I started working in his crew at the end of last year. But he was easy to befriend. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with him.

I pray that the Good Lord will give you all comfort as only he can.

    Bill Blair
