Obituary
Susan Ulshafer Carosiello, 53, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on April 05, 2021, peacefully at home, after a valiant fight with small cell lung cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA., on November 15, 1967, as the youngest of seven children to the Fire Commissioner, Roger Ulshafer and mother Margaret. She is survived by her parents, her husband, Augustus, son, Jarrett, step daughter, Krystal, grandson, Rylan, brothers, Scott (Anne), and Craig (Karen), sister, Cathy Ulshafer, nieces, Eve Parsons, Amanda Hagans, Katie Heckman, Kelly Walkins, Tara Diaz, Amber Silverman, Dayna Silverman, and Dawn Ulshafer, nephews, Alec and Bobby Powers, Mark and Patrick Carosiello, Justin Silverman, Craig Ulshafer Jr., Richard Walkins, and Dylan Ulshafer.
Susan was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and spent a career as a multi-talented theatrical stagehand in the many venues in Southwest Florida with IATSE Local 647. She was a very special person, who had a multitude of good friends. Susan was a huge fan of the Eagles and Flyers, and enjoyed traveling the mountains, gardening, and loved to cook. Susan was the kindest, most gentle, and giving person you could ever meet.
A Memorial Gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 1:00p to 3:00p, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, 4320 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL., 33966.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel
I was saddened to read of the death of Susan. I remember her as a little girl playing with my children on Edgewood Street. For your consolation. please know there is no hurting, no suffering, and no pain in Heaven. While we grieve her physical loss, please be comforted by the fact that she is in a far better place now.
