I am so sad seeing this today. I worked with Susan at DHS. She was a great person and I know she will be missed.

It’s been near 50 years, but I remember Susan as a sweet, friendly girl and a cheerleader at Dobyns Bennett. My sympathy to Steve and Jane. I remember both of you as well. And your father who use to practice hitting golf balls at the old DB. I grew up in the “white ghetto” on Forest Street. I always considered you all my friends. Hang in there during this sad time.

    Steve and Jane,
I am so saddened by this news. I pray for comfort and strength for your families. I remember so fondly of times at Bethel growing up with your family.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Susan’s passing. We lived on Valley Street and talked almost daily as she walked Sparkles and we always talked about out dogs. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Susan and I talked about me coming to visit her. I am so hurt I didn’t get to see her.
