Susanne (Susie) Carpenter LaMonte (60), passed away in her Zephyrhills, FL  home on February 16th.  She was a native of Ocala, born on January 29, 1958 and attended Vanguard High School and later Marion Academy.  Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Carl, parents, Richard and Bonnie Carpenter, son, Randy (Angie) Rushing, daughter, Jessica Lea, step-son, Carl Lee LaMonte, brother, Craig (Karen) Carpenter, 5 grandchildren, Ashleigh Rushing, Aubrey Ancelet, Andrew Rushing, Austin Lea and Gavin Lea and nephew Blake Carpenter. She worked for many years as a Veterinarian Technician at Marion Veterinary Hospital and more recently at Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service. She enjoyed spending time with her many, beloved four legged children and NASCAR races.
