Obituary
Susanne Mary Thomas (née Clark) died on August 26, 2019 in New Smyrna Beach, FL due to complications following cancer. She was 61.
Ms. Thomas was born on August 10, 1958 in Chicago, IL to her parents, Hugh and Florence Clark. She was married to John Thomas in 1983. Ms. Thomas spent the majority of her life in the North Shore of the Chicago area where she raised her daughter, Kathryn Thomas of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
She worked in office administration and retail which offered her the opportunity to relocate to Pennsylvania and New Jersey before retiring to Florida. Susanne enjoyed her later years spent with close friends and neighbors. Her humor, generosity and spirit will be missed by all that knew her.
Ms. Thomas is survived by her daughter; her brothers, George Michael Clark (Susan), David Clark, and Mark Clark (Kristin); and her sister Jean Jenick. She is preceded in death by her parents; her ex-husband; and her brother, Hugh Scott Clark, Jr. (Patricia).
A private memorial will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Venetian Bay.
