I was so sorry to learn of Suzi-Q's passing but know that she is loving flying high and being with Jesus. She and I became friends when she came into our Christian store in Easley, SC. She had such a heart for God and others. Her joy made the world a brighter place and her photos brought beauty to many.

Suzie was a beautiful, talented, free spirited, faithful servant and will be missed. Her passing was sudden, and a sad shock for all. Looking at her was like looking at her Dad...especially those beautiful crystal baby blue eyes. Since she was young, she has had a passion for nature. I can vividly remember Vicky and I hunting with Cindy and her for insects, butterflies, and wildflowers across the street from their "new" house in Edinburg. Other fond memories when we were young include their dance classes, going to Indy to be on a local TV show, and especially the Christmases spent and Grandma and Pa's, with all 4 of us little girls (before Kelly and Tammy were born) giggling in bed together and Santa (my Dad) outside the windows jingling bells and saying Ho Ho Ho so we would go to sleep. We had such fun growing up. We were able to catch up on a lot of memories this past March when I visited her in Florida, and she began considering moving back to Indiana to be closer to family. But now, she is with Barbara and Ray, Cindy and Kelly, Grandma and Pa, and Mayme and Mac. We will miss her. As she always used to say at the end of her texts: Luv ya, Cuz. Be at Peace in His Arms.

Suzie was a wonderful, talented, free spirit...very spiritual, and much loved by her family. She was always wondrous about and interested in nature. I can remember as kids roaming the field across the street from their "new" house in Edinburg, searching for insects, butterflies, and wildflowers to collect. Looking at her was like looking at a picture of her Dad...and those beautiful blue eyes! I feel very fortunate to have visited with her in Florida this past March. We had years and years of catching up. She had even talked of moving back to Indiana, to be closer to family. This was a sudden passing and a sad shock to all. There was so much more to say and reminisce about. Now, Suzie has rejoined Barbara and Ray, Cindy and Kelly, Grandma and Pa, and Mayme and Mac...and they are altogether once again. As Suzie used to end her texts: Love ya, Cuz! She will be missed. Be at Peace in the Arms of God.
