Sybil Morrison died Sunday July 5, 2015. A native of Orlando who grew up in the Orange groves of Conway in the 1930's, Sybil attended Marks St. School, Conway Elementary, Cherokee Junior High, and OHS. Born to John M. and Charlotte E. Lee, and the youngest of six children, Sybil married her husband Henry Morrison, also a native of Orlando in 1949. A military family, they raised three children around the world, but settled back in Orlando in 1964. Sybil was one of the original staff members that opened the Military Exchange on McCoy AFB which is now Orlando International Airport. Sybil was an active member of Orlando #131 Order of Eastern Star, on the Advisory Board of Orlando Assembly #6, was a Shriners Director's Staff wife, a happy member of the Red Hat Society, and a member of Conway United Methodist Church. Sybil loved to travel, and spent the later years of her life traveling as much as she could. She is survived by her children Earl, Kathy Quick (Roger), and Patricia Hicks (Mike), 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, along with many loved nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, July, 10, 2015 at 11 am at Casa Feliz in Winter Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital and The Masonic Home in St. Petersburg, FL.
