Obituary
Tamela (Tami) Selena Garner-Hunt, 64, of New Smyrna Beach passed away November 9, 2023. She was born June 1, 1959, in Daytona Beach and has been a lifelong resident of Volusia County living in Port Orange and the passed 32 years in New Smyrna Beach. She graduated from Spruce Creek High School class of 1977. For many years Tami worked as a bartender at Harbor Lights Restaurant in Port Orange and Norwood’s Restaurant in New Smyrna. She also worked for Publix in the meat department in the New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater stores until her retirement in 2022.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 23 years, Kerry O. Hunt; her son, Todd Garner II and his wife Kimberly; Step- daughter, Kristie L Hunt; sisters, Lynn Sousa and her husband Jim and Shannon Cameron; grandsons, Ian Garner, Lukas Garner and Justice O Hunt; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Tami was predeceased by her parents; Virginia Bruce Martin and Bobby Pinkerton and her stepson Joseph P Hunt.
A celebration of life will be held at the Port Orange Eagles time and date to be announced.
