Tammy Lynn Proulx

Birth 7-11-1968 Bellows Falls, Vermont

Death 11-2-2020 Volusia County, Florida

Tammy Lynn Proulx, 52, of Ormond Beach, died peacefully in her sleep on November 2nd, 2020. She was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont on July 11th, 1968, and was adopted by Curtis Reginald Greenlaw, Jr. and Shirley Anne Greenlaw on April 3rd, 1969, making the Greenlaw family complete.

Tammy married her soul mate Bob Proulx on September 3rd, 1998 on the beach in Ormond.

Tammy and Bob were married for 16 years. Hosting festive holiday gatherings was the norm for them at their residence with extended family and friends. They loved traveling to North Carolina with “The Road to Nowhere” Bryson City as one of their favorite spots. Bob sadly passed away also at the age of 52 on July 27th, 2014.

Tammy earned her Associates Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management in 1995.

She then found her true calling, serving Volusia County for 21 years. Starting out as a Tag and Title Clerk and working her way up to Code Enforcement Building & Zoning Compliance Coordinator.

In recent years, she worked as a devoted caregiver for her Mother, who passed away November 1st, 2020 at the Halifax Health Hospice in Port Orange.

Of her many virtues, she is remembered for her “Heart of Gold” as frequently spoke of by her Mother.

Tammy is survived by her brothers Ray, Wayne, and Scott; stepsiblings Stephen and April; nephew Jesse Paul; uncle Raymond Edward; cousins Edward, Lori, Jim, and Susan; along with numerous relatives and in-laws.

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020, with Gathering of Friends and Family starting at 2pm, and Service at 3pm, at Baldwin Brothers Ormond Beach Heritage Place, 1185 W. Granada Blvd. #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. This is so hard and my heart is broken. I know you are happy now that you are with Bob and Allie again. It's always going to suck for me but I'm happy that you and Bob are together and both are well and enjoying the mountains and beaches in your very custom campsite. You have been my best friend for almost twenty years and you have been and always will be family. I cannot thank you enough for being my friend and family. You were always caring and giving of yourself without what was in it for you. Please watch over me and mine, as you know I always need it. Forever in my heart and my life. I will miss you forever, until we meet again. LYMI - Yo!

I'm so very sorry to hear of your untimely passing. You will be missed. Thank you very much for Loving my brother so and for keeping his memory alive in all of us.

I always admired your easy going affable sensibility and how much you obviously Loved my brother. Any of us should be so lucky in life.

We'll always have those holidays when. I just like to think you're finally at peace, up above, with Bob.

    Rest in Peace

I'm so very sorry to hear of your untimely passing. You will be missed. Thank you very much for Loving my brother so and for keeping his memory alive in all of us for as long as you could.

I always admired your easy going affable and sensible nature and how you Loved my brother. I should only be so lucky to find the same.

We'll always have those holidays then.

I just know you're finally at peace wherever with Bob smiling down on us from somewhere above.

    Rest in Peace
