Obituary

Teresea A Philipsen 58, of Apopka FL. gracefully passed
away on February 8, 2024 following a short illness. She
was surrounded by her husband, daughters & sisters. Her
departure leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those
who had the joy and privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Buzz
Philipsen, caring daughters Cindy and Stephanie O’Hara,
and her adorable grandchildren, the apple of her eye,
Scarlett, Matthew, and Asher. Teresea’s memory will also
be cherished by her sisters Vicki Smith (Darryl), Sissy
Sickler (Russ), Bonnie Anctil (Kenton), Pamela Biggs,
Karen Melanson (Brian), along with her brother Elvis Biggs
(Georgeanna), all of FL, Aunts Judy Lynch & Glenna
Dunbar of W. Va. and many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Predeceased in death by her beloved parents Mack and
Marie Biggs, and 3 older brothers, she is now reunited
with them in eternity.
Teresea was a woman of many passions and interests.
She was a fan of the Green Bay Packers by marriage but
a Miami Dolphins fan at heart and loved immersing herself
in her favorite TV shows, Real TV. Her diverse hobbies
also included spending time at the beach, riding her
Harley, and fond memories were often created in her
favorite vacation spots, Mexico and Key West. Teresea
enjoyed spending time with her family in New Smyrna
Beach and making road trips to W.Va to love on her
daughters and grandchildren. Teresea’s personality was
magnetic, her huge smile infectious, and her warmth was
exemplified in her hugs. She had an eclectic taste in
music, and treasured the company of her many friends.
Teresea had various careers through the years. She was
an over-the-road truck driver, a paramedic and a Kroger
specialist.
A Celebration of Life service to honor Teresea’s legacy will
be held on February 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM at New
Creations Church 150 Oak St. Oak Hill FL 32759, with
delivery of flowers from 10:00-12:00 pm. We invite
everyone who knew and loved Teresea to come together
and share the stories and memories that made her the
extraordinary woman she was.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Teresea’s
honor at Advent Health Hospice Care Altamonte Springs
FL 32714.
We are grateful for the love and laughter she brought into
our lives and will carry the traces of her spirit within us
forever. May her soul rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

Watching the Packers. There's so much to say but I'm at a loss for words. I pray Buzz, her family, her girls and grandchildren are comforted from each other. She always laughed at my stupid posts. She was the only one. She will be in my heart forever.

She will be so dearly missed, she had such an infectious laugh that was so unique to her alone. Always smiling always lighting up the room whenever she and Buzz walked in. They were a package deal, always together always! Her love for Buzz was so wonderful and he was and will be her soul mate. She has left us way too soon. She so loved her daughters Cindy and Stephanie, and would do anything for them and her wonderful grandchildren. So blessed that we've been friends for so so many years. Fly high with the Angels my dear friend, you will so missed by many!
