Obituary
Terri Fields. That was only one of the names she went by in life. Her most important names were “Mom” and “Nana”. Those two names sum up her entire life, but does not begin to express the legacy she left behind. When one thinks of legacy, they think of monetary or things. Maybe a successful buisness, or some real-estate on the beach. But the legacy of Nana, lives on in the lives of those she raised. She was meant to be a mom, and later on, meant to be a Nana. Her devotion to her family never wavered. From her own children, all the way to her great grand children, Nana was everything. She was the calm in your storm. The comfort when you felt like crumbling. She loved her family with every fiber of her being and will live on inside of them forever. Nana would say “you may not know who you are, but you know who you aren’t” and I can say that by knowing and being loved by her, I know exactly who I am. I am a product of a strong woman, who loved with her whole heart. In death, I hope she knows just how insurmountable she is to those who loved her, and that we can all honor her by being the very best at the thing that mattered most to her, a mother. We all gained the most amazing guardian angel the day the Lord brought her home. And we know God was there with his arms open, and a smile on his face, as he welcomed her into his arms, and thanked her for serving him in all that she did. You will be forever missed Nana, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of the children you loved.
