Obituary
Terry Hannula, 76, died peacefully June 25, 2022 at home in Fort Myers, Florida with his wife and CoCo by his side.
Terry is survived by his wife LaDonna of 52 years, son Eric (Sarah) Hannula and grandsons (Calder and Callen) of Ann Arbor, MI. His sisters, Sharon (Dave) Schneider, of East Tawas, MI and Bonnie Weaver of Grand Blanc, MI survive him along with many nieces and nephews who share special memories of their Uncle Terry.
Those preceding him in death are parents, Ralph and Marie Hannula of Grand Blanc, MI, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Jessie “Jo” Hannula of Lake Linden, MI, his nephew Mark Foy of Cape Coral, FL, and many aunts and uncles.
Terry’s best days were on his boat enjoying water sports with Eric, friends and family or just taking a cruise on the lake listening to his music – country, contemporary jazz, Motown, and the “oldies” from the fifties and sixties. His greatest memory of his younger days were those spent with his forever friend, Garland McConnell.
At some point in the near future, we will celebrate his life and our memories of him while spreading his ashes in the waters that he truly loved. Vodka and grapefruit juice will be served in his honor. An invite will be sent to family and friends when the time and date is available to share.
Memorial donations may be made in Terry’s name to the Alzheimer Foundation at www.alz.org to help find a cure or Hope Hospice of Fort Myers, Florida for the exceptional care given at www.morehope.org Condolences and memories can be shared at www.baldwincremation.com/obituaries
