Obituary
Terry Alan Holden, age 65, passed away peacefully the night of Saturday June 15, 2024 at AdventHealth Hospital Orlando after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born February 19, 1959 in Schenectady, New York to Wallace Holden and Doris (Hover) Holden. He graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelors in Business Administration. He was a manager at Ponderosa Steakhouse for several years which is where he met his wife. He was also a manager at Ramada Inn before moving to Orlando, Florida in 1989. There he worked as a manager at Farberware, Playtime Amusements, and the 2010 US Census.
Terry married Tammy (Neahr) Holden on August 09, 1986 in Schenectady, New York. They were married for almost 38 years and have four children, one son in law, and one grandchild.
Terry was a devoted husband, dedicated father and doting grandfather. He truly had an amazing memory and sense of humor, and used both of these to bring joy and laughter too many people’s lives. He was an avid theme park attendee and love going with his family.
Terry is survived by his wife Tammy Holden, children Melissa Carnley, Jennifer Holden, Amanda Holden, Jason Holden, son in law William Marshall Carnley, and grandson Rhys Carnley, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Terry joins his mother Doris Holden, father Wallace Holden, brother Rick Holden, and sister Linda Rector in Heaven.
Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Terry are invited to A Celebration of Life service being held on Saturday June 29, at Kingsway Christian Academy, 4161 N. Powers Dr. Orlando, Fl. 32818 at 10:00am to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and of course, share stories of Terry.
