Obituary
Thaddeus Stanley Jozefiak, age 82, of Eustis, Florida, peacefully left this world on October 18, 2025, embraced in the unshakeable love and warmth of his family.
Born on October 22, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, Thaddeus proudly dedicated his life to serving his country in the U.S. Air Force and later retired from management at Chrysler Corporation, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity.
Thaddeus was a vibrant and devoted soul, a true beacon of faith and fellowship at GraceWay Church. His heartfelt devotion and the joy he found in his church family was palpable, and he lived every day with a profound sense of community, generosity, and love for others that inspired everyone around him.
He discovered happiness in countless hobbies: fishing, cruising, poker, gardening, and traveling, approaching each adventure with enthusiasm and humor that lit up every room. Yet, above all, he found his greatest joy in his beloved family, whose love and bond he cherished deeply.
Thaddeus is survived by his loving fiancée, Joann Furman; and children Dale Bayster, Dawn (John) Kosiur, Dusty Jozefiak, and Darla (Alan) Kaufman, as well as a caring father-in-law to Paul Militello. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense happiness and pride. He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Angeline Trawinski and his beloved daughter, Denise Militello, both of whom he held close in his heart.
