Obituary
On September 20, 2024, the living world lost a legend. The king of the road who wrote “Tar Head Blues” and gave advice like “real men sleep in the dirt” and “It’s either gonna get better or it’s gonna get worse” Tom loved telling a good story, having an ice cold Budweiser and picking his guitar among friends. He was an Army Veteran who desired no recognition for his services and sacrifices. He was a kind and giving person and you know you were lucky to have been graced by his friendship. He passed comfortably in the company of his family and beloved Brutis, listening to some of his favorite music.
He is survived by his sister Anna Ruth Bailey, daughters, Teresa Bryant (Randy) Toni Bryant, grandchildren Joseph, Theresa Ann (Shane) Remi, Thomas and Ezekiel and great grandchildren, Tatum and Elias.
Please help us celebrate and remember him with your laughter, not tears. Listen to John Prine’s, “When I get to Heaven”
We will miss you daddy.
