Thomas Horoszewski, 78, of New Smyrna Beach passed away on Friday, May 8,2015.Thomas was born November 25,1936 in Holyoke, MA. He is a veteran of the US Navy. Living most of his life in Massachusetts decided to retire in Florida in 200l. For about 8 years he and his wife Phyllis were snowbirds, and when he went back to Massachusetts went to the shore and fished and Lobster trapping. In his younger years he loved to bowl and belonged to many bowling leagues. After the service he worked as a tool and die machinist. He was a member of the Polish American Veterans in Webster-Dudley, MA. In 1991 he became State Commander of the state of Massachsetts Polish American Veterans.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis after 56 happy years, son Matthew of Daytona Beach, son Michael of Chicopee, MA, daughter Kathy Renaud of Chicopee, MA, one grandchild, Kyle Stearns serving with the US Army in Ft. Hood, TX, a sister Carole Patno of Kissimmee Fla.
A memorial service will be held at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL 32169 on Tuesday, May 26th at l0:00 a.m.
in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation of Kidney Foundation.
