Thomas John O’Hara, 88, New Smyrna Beach Florida died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at home.
Thomas was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey. He served in the US Army Air Corps during W W II in Saipan. He was a retired owner operator of an Allied Commercial Moving Company in New Jersey. He enjoyed all sports. He was a member of Essex Fells Country Club in New Jersey, Turnbull Bay Golf Club New Smyrna Beach and Smyrna Yacht Club.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ruth, son Thomas of North Caldwell, New Jersey, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Robert.

Celebration of Life will be 4 to 7 PM Friday, January 23 at Smyrna Yacht Club hosted by his grandchildren. Memorial services will be scheduled in New Jersey at a later date.
Cremation under the direction of Baldwin Brothers Cremation Service.
